So, among other Nikons, my main two cameras are the D850 and D610. I considered switching to the D750, but I
not sure it be worth the cost to change.

What do the other Hogs think? Besides those who say switch to Canon or Sony.

I had the 610. Have the 750, 500, and 850. D750 has a little better AF, and Faster shutter than the 610 and a little lighter. If you only had the 610 you might make a improvement case for the 750, but with the D850 there is no real need. I'm definitely not a pro so I buy based on "want" not "need". I would suggest that if you get rid f the 610 you do it for a bigger jump than the 750 or fill a different gap, like the D500 if you have the need or interest (take a look at the earlier post on the D500). Hope this helps.

Mine is okay. I don't see my buying another DSLR. This is the best one I've owned.

I did not know there was a shutter recall for the D750. can't find any info on Nikonusa, and info you can share. I would like to check my camera.

You can input your camera's serial number here to check if you model was affected. I believe the recall was for cameras made in 2014-2015.

I have owned a D750 for a number of years, and I have never had an issue. While it only shoots at a fast 1/4000 of a second; that isn’t an issue that can’t be solved by either aperture, ISO, or both together. The D750 is still a great camera!

Got my D750 4 years ago with the 24-120f4 & extra battery pack package, all for under 2K new, with "free" money from my BOA rewards card. Best camera deal I ever made. Lighter than other FF, but with a moveable screen and built-in flash, (deal makers for me!) Still haven't used all the options available on it, but has served me very well, outstanding DR. That 24-120 is almost never off the camera and is sharp at all apertures and focal lengths. Don't see a need for any other camera.

I bought two used from Adorama. The D750 is a terrific camera. Buy it used in E, E-.E +. Check the shutter count. Try to get one below 130k clicks, preferably below 100k clicks. The lower the better.

I'd say that it still is far better than just OK.

If you really think the D750 can’t handle BIF, I would kindly disagree.
