Yes, particularly at current used prices. Very versatile, relatively small & light. There was a shutter recall, so be sure to get one that wasn't on the list or was repaired. Mine was on the list but working perfectly. I sent it in just in case. Free and fast new shutter.

I love my D750. Last year I purchased a D810 because I had always wanted one and thought the 750 would wind up sitting and not be used. I have just finished a photography class and wound up using the 750 as much if not more than the 810. The 750 has the tilt screen which helps me when I can't get low enough physically.

My instructor was telling us he always carries 2 camera bodies with lenses attached when he shoots so he doesn't have to stop, change lenses and possibly miss a shot.

If something happened to this D750 I would definitely replace it. It is a great camera!!!

So, among other Nikons, my main two cameras are the D850 and D610. I considered switching to the D750, but I
not sure it be worth the cost to change.

What do the other Hogs think? Besides those who say switch to Canon or Sony.

Never had a D610 or a D850, but have several other Nikon Digitals. To me the D750 is like a utility outfielder - does everything very well and can be comfortably paired with any other Nikon if you work with 2 cameras. The articulating monitor is not something I use much, but can be very handy on occasion.

Yes, it is more than just ok. Except for the high speed sports or birds in flight crowd, it will handle anything you can throw at it.

Great camera, but too old to buy with new money. Shop EX-rated used models at KEH and similar used resellers.

I moved to M4/3 gear for my travel photos but kept one of my two D750s because it is a great camera for general use. I match it with a Nikon 16-35 f/4, Sigma 24-105 F/4 Art, Tamron 100-400 & 90mm Macro for my FX kit. I purchased this kit new for about $5500 but these days you can get all of this in very good condition for less than $2100 used and that includes the D750. Good luck!

D750 was my first Nikon body when I decided to switch to another brand after using Pentax for 30+ years. I used D750 in my studio, for landscape and travel photography and this camera was so good, it convinced me to stay with Nikon. I even bought a used D7200 that was a hard-to-pass bargain. Now both DSLRs are sold along with the majority of my F lenses. I am now firmly in the Z camp, have Z6, Z7 and Z50 and a bunch of Z lenses. I am very thankful to the pro who sold me his D750 with AF-S 70-200 f2.8 VRII in 2018. I guess he switched to Sony.

I have a D750. It's an outstanding camera even when compared to the latest models. Don't hesitate to purchase one. Its autofocus module is actually an upgrade to the one used in the D810.

Advanced Multi-CAM 3500FX (EV range -2 to +19)
Used in D4, D4s, D800, D800E, D810, D810a

Advanced Multi-CAM 3500FX II (EV range -3 to +19)
Used in D750

The D750 does have a better autofocus module than the one in the D610. Your D850 beats both of them.

I would never trade off my D750. Paired with my Nikon 14-70 and my 70-200, it just can hardly be beaten for Landscape and Low Light photography. I've never had a lick of trouble with it and have had it since they came out. Never felt I needed an 850 or a Z system Camera and lenses....
