Certainly worth a visit. The boardwalks are fabulous for photographing the inhabitants.
Gator most likely, possibly a Cayman ( crock-sub species).....traditional crocks have very long and slender snouts,usually and I believe are found on African continent.
I am not an expert on those guys....sorry.

Yes, African. But there are some in Florida, fresh water, not like the Australian salties.

Thanks Mike. Yeah I like it as a photo but it looks especially...uh...evil to me for some reason.
Most all Florida crocodiles live in brackish water so this is almost certainly a gator. The rounded snout confirms it. As an aside, gators do not stock or attack people as cross do. The few people bitten or injured by a gator almost always step on him. Nice picture.
