Right, blame the resistance to the vaccine on Trump. Trump, however, is the one who put the development of the vaccine on WARP speed. He recognized the need to battle this deadly disease and that we were truly in a war with it. Without Trump's efforts, Biden could not have had the success he did in making the vaccine available to so many as quickly as he did. After all, My wife and I received our first shot 13 days after Biden was inaugurated. There's no way Biden could have been responsible for THAT. The lives that have been saved as a result of the vaccine have been saved because of Trump's efforts. If anybody is ignoring the truth about the need for the vaccine, it's not because Trump told them it was unnecessary. It's because of idiotic anti-vaxxers who can't, to this day, believe that the only people dying from Covid are those who have not been vaccinated. BUT, it's a free country. VAX or DIE. And many will.

The techniques were started in the 1990s and perfected by 2000. Trump's attitude toward the normal slow science-based approval regulations and the time it takes to get clearance was perhaps an accelerating factor to speed the process.
