A great communicator just look up his speech to the British parliament and see no autocue just a glance at notes occasionally, compared to Trump it was a Godzilla compared to Mickey Mouse.

[quote=dpullum]We now have too many in the Trump Cult States that have not had the COVID immunization and they will be the downfall of the economy as they spread the Delta COVID virus and we have COVID Pandemic all over again but this time with the more deadly Delta variation.

Right, blame the resistance to the vaccine on Trump. Trump, however, is the one who put the development of the vaccine on WARP speed. He recognized the need to battle this deadly disease and that we were truly in a war with it. Without Trump's efforts, Biden could not have had the success he did in making the vaccine available to so many as quickly as he did. After all, My wife and I received our first shot 13 days after Biden was inaugurated. There's no way Biden could have been responsible for THAT. The lives that have been saved as a result of the vaccine have been saved because of Trump's efforts. If anybody is ignoring the truth about the need for the vaccine, it's not because Trump told them it was unnecessary. It's because of idiotic anti-vaxxers who can't, to this day, believe that the only people dying from Covid are those who have not been vaccinated. BUT, it's a free country. VAX or DIE. And many will.

You were a manager? I bet you were great at writing memos.

OK, I shouldn't have said "maybe". Compared to most people I did not find Reagan "brilliant".

Trump made a major donation to Jenny McCarthy's antivaxx organization. Square that with your post, if you can.

Trump Did Make A Charitable Donation — To Jenny McCarthy’s Anti-Vax Org

For someone who calls himself an "ardent philanthropist," Donald Trump has made surprisingly few donations. After contacting 300 charities, The Washington Post could only identify one gift he made out of pocket from 2008 through this May, which was to the Police Athletic League of New York. (In May, he donated $1 million to the Marine Corps — Law Enforcement Foundation after falsely claiming he already had.) But The Daily Beast recently discovered one other cause Trump has recently supported. The Trump Foundation donated $10,000 to Generation Rescue, Jenny McCarthy's anti-vaccination organization, in 2010. McCarthy, a Playboy model and former The View host, has long been on a crusade to end vaccines, using her son as evidence that they cause autism. Her organization spreads warnings about vaccination and aims to help families get "autism treatment." (She claims that, after following a specific diet and taking vitamins, her own son is no longer autistic.) Donald Trump has also expressed anti-vaccination sympathies. During CNN's Republican debate last September, he lamented a boy who "went to have the vaccine, and came back, and a week later got a tremendous fever, got very, very sick, now is autistic."

LOL... Thommie, Reagan gave some of the greatest and most moving speeches of any president, even the MSM today still refers to him as the great communicator... Too bad your petty politics are so influential in your life that they wouldn't allow you to recognize the truth.

Every time I listen to one of Reagan's speeches my eyes tear up, yours probably not, that is because you so dislike this country.

Even Biden since assuming the presidency has quoted Reagan on several occasions, because his speeches were epic.

I don't give Trump much credit for taking steps to develop a vaccine---any President would have done that, at the very least. So, Trump did the very least.
His consistent downplay of and lies about the virus, especially since he know better as evidenced by his interview with Bob Woodward on February 8, 2020, will go down in history as a man who completely mishandled a national health crisis resulting in an unknown number of innocent sufferings and death. His influence remains today as a man who cared about his reelection rather than the general welfare of the country he led.
Biden picked up the pieces and aggressively promoted vaccine distribution to a degree that will also be remembered in history.

Point of clarification... Pfizer had nothing to do with warp speed and operated independently

Warp-Speed: The Department of Health and Human Services appears to have used a financial maneuver that allowed officials to spend the money without telling Congress, and the agency got permission from its top lawyer to do so.
https://www.statnews.com/2021/03/02/trump-administration-quietly-spent-billions-in-hospital-funds-on-operation-warp-speed/

The truth is that Pfizer didn’t receive any funding from Operation Warp Speed for the development, clinical trial and manufacturing of the vaccine. Rather, its partner, BioNTech SE, has received money -- from the German government.
https://fortune.com/2020/11/09/pfizer-vaccine-funding-warp-speed-germany/

In fact, the lightning-fast development of two leading coronavirus vaccines happened both because of and despite Trump — perhaps the most anti-science president in modern history, who has previously flirted with anti-vaccine views and savaged those who cited scientific evidence to press for basic public health measures in response to the pandemic.

the [TRUMP] administration’s biggest triumph to date in a pandemic response otherwise marred by dysfunction and lack of leadership

They relied on basic research done over decades in government, academic and company research labs. Even the financial model used to insulate vaccine makers from financial risk traced back to an agency that Congress created in late 2006 to incentivize companies to develop urgently needed medicines.

The techniques were started in the 1990s and perfected by 2000. Trump's attitude toward the normal slow science-based approval regulations and the time it takes to get clearance was perhaps an accelerating factor to speed the process.

Trump acting as a "Stable-Genius" Virologist did come up with cures not hindered by science... we must remember that he is favored by God as the "Chosen One" to use his words.

Steve R. Said: "Trump, however, is the one who put the development of the vaccine on WARP speed. He recognized the need to battle this deadly disease and that we were truly in a war with it. "Trump's battle weapons are displayed in the photo below.

By picking many from the obama administration to run his administration and tell him what to do, biden has abdicated all responsibility.

Really, you are going to bring up dementia and Biden in the same paragraph as if he doesn't suffer from it? You and I both know that Biden is just a figure head, he never did and certainly does not have the intellectual ability to run this nation.

Only to you and Democrats is it about acting.

Reagan and Conservatives have, believe in, and for the most part follow a conservative philosophy of small government and freedom loving principles for individuals. Democrats have no such thing. Democrats only have a lust for power and control to exert their socialist demands.
