OCD for. Matching close pins

Didn't notice......
Maybe I would have done that myself.
I suppose everyone is OCD to some extent, some more than others.

It would definitely be OCD if you had a specific color clothes pin for each garment category, i.e., green pins for socks, blue pins for underwear, etc.

Matching clothes pins, but avoiding blue pins on blue clothes.

Probably because you hang like colors together and your socks in pairs.

Outdoor clothes lines have all but disappeared in these parts, even in rural areas. We should start to use them again as an energy saving measure.

If OCD is a malady, I suffer from its extreme opposite.

OCD = Obsessive Compulsory Disorder = something most of us older photographers have obtained after years of looking through a small usually unclear hole in the back of a camera🤪🤪

So if OCD is making sure everything is in order, does that mean you try to force everything to be out of order? I would think that would really require some work. Even random sequences have a few ordered segments in them.

It is clear from this photo that you were misdiagnosed. You allowed a different color close pin to be used for a single item. If OCD you would have been much more attentive.

My sister in law was the same............she had to have matching colour clothes pegs. (nuts)
I, on the other hand do not care about the pegs, as long as everyting is hung correctly.all towels in a row, teat towels, another row. sox in a line. my undies in a line and OH's undies in another line. All shirts together. LOL

Whatevr it is, a teat towel must be hung correctly.

Only if you took 30+ shots of this scene, at slightly different angles, and spent lots of time in LR deciding how to process & crop, & then chosing what you think was the best shot, only after asking your wife to make her choice from the final pair. That would qualify as OCD. Ask me how I know. :-)
