My sister in law was the same............she had to have matching colour clothes pegs. (nuts)
I, on the other hand do not care about the pegs, as long as everyting is hung correctly.all towels in a row, teat towels, another row. sox in a line. my undies in a line and OH's undies in another line. All shirts together. LOL

I would have preferred all of the pegs to be the same colour. It looks unbalanced to me.

It would definitely be OCD if you had a specific color clothes pin for each garment category, i.e., green pins for socks, blue pins for underwear, etc.
