Always defending stumbling mumbling Joe.... Never mind that he canceled all federal leases on oil exploration, never mind that he canceled the XL, which would have delivered almost a million barrels a day directly to the refineries, never mind that he has threatened to impose policy that would punish carbon in this country.... No, nothing is Biden's fault.
I'll tell you what, big oil always does well when the price of gasoline skyrockets, their profit is built in as a percentage of what we pay at the pump..... I will be adjusting my stock portfolio, at least for the near term I will be heavy in Chevron and Exxon.

With gas prices going so high, and covid lessening, someone should figure out a way to fuel vehicles with hand sanitizer!

Where did I defend anyone.
I doubt you even bother to read the article - and just mouthed off
.
But just to correct your errors.
- no existing leases were canceled.
- the pipeline would have only carried oil that America would not use and which would have been trans hipped overseas. Btw that oil is already coming in via rail and truck.

Once again you are uninformed. The XL pipeline was never intended to deliver crude oil directly to the refineries. In fact, the XL Pipeline oil was never to be used to deliver oil in the United States. The pipeline was intended to deliver Canadian crude directly to the Gulf where it was to be loaded on tankers and shipped to China, as it was too lowgrade for any of the United States refineries to handle.
Second, none of the federal leases that were canceled were currently producing oil. It was merely for exploration and they were canceled in order to preserve the habitat without the oil companies destroying it.
Good luck with your "stock portfolio". Hopefully, it will allow you the leisure time so that you might be able to catch up on reading.

Why are you always so full of s#it?
"The Keystone XL project was first proposed in 2008 as an extension of the existing Keystone Pipeline network. The Keystone XL pipeline would have offered a safe, reliable and environmentally responsible way to deliver crude oil from western Canada to refineries in the U.S. Gulf Coast."

It’s not a factor in the USA gas price equation.
Who owns the Rail and truck transport of Canadian oil to the Gulf Coast? Check and you might stumble upon the reason that Biden halted construction of the safe and sane pipeline.
I said nothing about campaign donations or which rail road owners, only that rail and truck were the primary carriers. The whole truth is that a pipeline will deliver the oil faster, cheaper, and safer than Rail or Semi.

Then post it rather than innuendo.

Yes It was an innuendo and thanks for the article. It does however point out that there is a ton of money involved in moving that oil and it would put a few transportation firms in the red.

Actually no only were no producing wells affected - no existing leases of any kind on federal land were affected.
Biden only said he was cancelling award of “ “future” leases.
