Just wondering if MPB gives a good trade in on used cameras?

You can probably do better selling it here on UHH or some other way.

HOWEVER, MPB offers decent trade in value, compared to some of the other used gear retailers. What's probably most important to those who sell to them (or KEH, or Adorama, or B&H, or Roberts Camera's UsedPhotoPro) is the ease of transaction.

Be wary of Craigslist, as in some places, theft and counterfeit money scams are common.

I found them to be very fair. I sent them a Tamron 150-600 G2. I told them I would thought it was in very good condition and they graded it Excellent and gave me 200.00 more than they quoted. I sent other things that I was selling and one other item they upgraded and one they downgraded. With camera's they also look at the number of shots the camera has taken into consideration so even if the camera is in excellent condition if the shot count is greater than what is expected they will downgrade

My experience: KEH gives higher quotes, but 'after inspection' low-balls from their original quote w/o explanation. That has never happened to me with MPB. I much prefer MPB.

I recently did business with MPB

What exactly is MPB? I know KEH and BH, never heard of MPB.

Same question, what is MPB?

MPB is just like KEH. I have purchased and sold used equipment for a few years there. I found them fairer than KEH in that several items I've sent they is graded higher than I did and they increased their offer. Never had that with KEH.

I prefer them to KEH also. The last time I sent equipment to KEH, the actual offer was substantially lower than the estimate, and I thought I had graded the equipment very correctly and conservatively. I will say that they repacked it very well and returned it promptly. I also find MPB to be less expensive when I purchase from them and the equipment is always better than their described condition (they are very conservative in grading items for sale).

I did a trade with them recently and was quite pleased. I turned in a D750 I wasn't using and got a Nikon 105 ... micro (that I am using) plus some cash.
