Do you mean right this minute, or just recently? The Seattle city leadership, by allowing the Chaz/Chop folks access and dominion over city-owned barricades, barrels, and fencing, assisted the takeover of public lands, the defacing of businesses, and the active suppression of people's ability to access their businesses or conduct business within. It is the case that Chaz / Chop came to an immediate end when local business people filed suit asserting exactly what I just asserted. It seems the city lawyers knew the suit had real merit.

Ted Wheeler in Portland for one. He marched with the rioters in the streets and gave a speech in front of the Hatfield Federal Courthouse while Antifa and BLM were attacking federal agents trying to defend it. So there’s one, George. Educate yourself.

I live near a decent sized City in a solidly blue state that has had a Democrat as Mayor and a Democrat city council my entire lifetime. There is no looting, rioting, setting of fires. The police are not defunded. There were BLM protests—all peaceful. Law enforcement is allowed to enforce. Same thing with other Democrat cities in my state, except for minor rioting for one night in one city that was quickly stopped. Kind of destroys your narrative of “literally every city protest nationwide” doesn’t it?

Of course not. I am telling you the experience in my State-one of the most liberal in the nation. . My point is that the amount of rioting and anarchistic behavior that has occurred has been very grossly overblown. People need a reality check, and that reality check includes the need to appreciate racial injustice.
