I have the same camera/lens combination and love it!

Save some money and buy used at the link below. I’ve used this company many times and never had a problem. Lenses always look like new.

I second the endorsement for mpb

Not knocking the X-E2 - had one, but you get a lot for that $400, including 24MP vs 16MP, 14 FPS vs 7, weather sealing, anti-flicker, tilting view screen, dual card slots, 4K video, 325 focus pts vs 49, etc, etc. Just something to think about for the future as you allocate your $.

Not to mention that they are a steal right now!

Thank you! I'll check them out. Nothing shows up on Adorama or B&H and eBay is just plain scary.

I bought xe2-s with 18-55 three years ago and shortly after i got 55-200. I am still using xe2-s with these two lenses. Both lenses are great, the same excellent built quality, Image Stab. works great on both.
I wanted to upgrade the camera a few times, i checked xe-3, xt-2, xt-20-all great cameras, but didn't notice improvement in Image quality. Unless you shoot fast moving subjects (I don't) or need special features (I don't) Xe2-s with these two lenses is a great combo that will keep you happy.
I still think 16 mp is a perfect number for APS-C sensor. I would suggest get 55-200 and you will be ready for most situations.

Not if you choose an experienced seller with a number of transactions and a 99-100% satisfaction rate. I bought my XT-2 on EBay and it was essentially new in the box with unopened accessories, and the same with the 50 f2 I just bought. Having said that, MPB sent me a note a week later that they had one in stock for somewhat less, and I have had great luck with lenses/cameras from them. Their grading seems to be as good as KEH, but less expensive for given quality, and there was no tax or shipping in the last lens I bought (not sure if that’s always the case), which is not true of eBay, which now charges tax and typically (but not always) shipping.
