Hi all...going to be away from internet access for the next week at our deer lease and wanted to post this " Cardinal Story" before we left...This is just for enjoyment as the shots are not at all the best in the world...just amusing and might bring a smile to someone...! I know it did me...It is the encounter between a White crowned Sparrow and a male cardinal...Enjoy! Linda Morton ( Sony Cybershot DSC -H2...Auto focus, Hand held...taken from our deck porch...)
Nice pictures, Mortonfarm! You did a great job.

The eagles fighting... WOW... I'm envious! Never yet had that opportunity. One of these days I'm going to Alaska just for the eagles, salmon jumping, and grizzlies...

Don't get your hopes up, I went to Alaska this past summer and only came away with shots of eagles behind cages. You have to be really lucky or spend sometime around Alaska and the North West to catch those shots.

Okay, I'm totally jealous, what kind of camera do you have and what type of len(ses) do you use? Give it up. We bird lovers need to know.
