I just got my new Pentax 60-250 lens today and shot the Hummingbird.

That's a great shot Jim. It is a 1/2 F-stop underexposed but that's easily fixed with a levels adjustment.

Jim I love the heron. It's so hard to get a sharp picture of a flying bird.
The Lorikeet's colors or so intense.

here are a few of my favorites...
"final approach" - got this eagle coming in for a landing on a pole. it was about a hundred yards away, so this is a pretty heavy crop.
