A great set of photos! Your images capture the grandeur, beauty and power of the falls. Well done.

Great images. I really like the Bridal Veil Falls one with the trees and bushes and meandering smaller falls around the walkway.
Did you have any problems traveling to and from Canada during the pandemic? Did you quarantine?

I live on the Canadian side about 1 1/2 hours drive from the falls, so I was restricted to this side for the photos.
At the moment, even setting foot on the other side would condemn me to a 14-day quarantine, so I stayed on the Canadian side. Yes, the Bridal Falls are picturesque from both sides of the border, and the colour of the steps is a fun contrast to the rock face. Thanks for looking - please stay well.

Thank you for the positive input. The volume of water going over the Horsehoe is almost unbelievable. We are lucky to be able to harness some of that power, and it is fun to find views which tap into it. Thaks for looking and please stay well. On your photo of the chateau, is the Cochon Dingue still operating? Used to go there a lot when I worked at the Gare Maritime for DFO.

Great shots Ours - brings back plenty of old memories: in the 80's I used to live relatively close-by in Oakville ON and visited the falls often - but haven't been back for decades. Thanks for posting these excellent pictures. Joe

Beautiful series of the falls. I was there about 35 years ago and would like to return. Thanks for sharing.

Love how that gull stands out against the darkness.

Thanks for the positive vibes. The cloud cover was giving me some issues, but also some very interesting lighting. Glad to bring back some good memories. Please stay well and keep on posting your great work.

Lovely series. The water looks much cleaner than when I say it 40 years ago. Thanks for sharing!

Magnificent set George. The color is phenomenal but I like the B&W as well.

in many years. This was a partly cloudy day. I set up and started shooting around 1 p.m. D5500, Sigma 10-20mm, Sigma 17-70mm and Nikkor 70-300mm. Some shots hand-held, others using my monopod.
The cloud was intermittently blocking the Sun and the lighting was changing dramatically from one minute to the next.
It was quite windy, so the plume generated by the Horseshoe Falls was more disperse than on calmer days, but the water around Horseshoe Falls was quite choppy, and the clouds quite ominous from time to time.
The tour boat appears to be climbing uphill because of the oblique angle of the wide-angle lens.
All shots from the Canadian side.
Note the change in lighting as clouds occlude the Sun and as the Sun drops lower in the sky - most noticeable in the last two shots.
The gull was obstructing a view I wanted - it stubbornly refused to go anywhere, so I shot it!
I returned about 10 days later on a sunny day - I will post those soon. There were hardly any visitors to Niagara Falls, most of the shops and attractions were closed, which made for less jostling to get a good shooting location.
Enjoy and feel free to leave comments, criticisms or suggestions which may be useful in helping me to hone my craft. Stay well and don't forget to vote, people died to give you that privilege.
in many years. This was a partly cloudy day. I set... (show quote)

They are all beautiful. Niagara is such an amazing falls...I find its power mesmerizing! Nicely captured
