As for being a libertarian, what does that get you?
I would have NO problem with a third party running for office nationally but, the way our government is set up, "Libertarian" is nothing more than code for "Stay home, Don't vote". The reason I say this is because, you MIGHT get a Libertarian elected in a local election but, in a national election, they are completely ignored as far as the ending vote count goes.

My ballot has one Libertarian and one Progressive listed. I would bet that they don't get more than 100 votes total - combined, in my county.

MONEY has become the over-riding factor in WHO gets elected!
And WHAT party is responsible for this? Hint - It AIN'T the Libertarian party! It's the Republican party. They were the ones who passed the rule that big money has no boundaries. Neither the Republicans NOR the Democrats want a third party but, those in government who oppose a third party, are looking at that issue strictly from a power perspective.
