If he would have put a mask on when it started and asked all to do the same he may not have it now and a thousand or so lives would have been saved! - DAVE

"Badges? I don't need no stinking badges! Right Joe?"

Oh, the irony of it. He'll have to self-quarantine for 14 days with just 31 days left until the election. I can see him appealing to delay the election given these "most unusual - never seen before" circumstances.

As much as I dislike the guy I wish him and his wife a speedy recovery

As far as we know, he has only tested positive. Perhaps he will not be a serious case. Given his age and weight he might be in trouble. I hope he recovers as well; but with a new, less-arrogant respect for science, and a degree of humility.

The British PM had it and it seemed not too bad at first but after a week or so it deteriorated and he was put in intensive care where it was touch and go for a while before he only just survived.

Don't bet on it.

"I think he learned his lesson." Susan Collins after Mr Bigly's impeachment.

Well, that was a no-brainer waiting to happen. He will likely no longer mock Joe Biden for wearing a mask, but it is doubtful trump will learn much else from this. He will continue to remain in denial about most of the facts concerning Covid.

The country should be enraged at his irresponsibility that has now resulted in undeniable uncertainty about the future.
I hope his positive test does not result in him or his family actually becoming sick.

Karma. Supposedly he went to a fundraiser in New Jersey after he knew he had been exposed. If this is true, and someone at the fundraiser catches Covid, is Trump guilty of assault? If someone dies is he guilty of manslaughter?

The problem is that trump has two factors working against him.

Age
Obesity

Borris Johnson found out the hard way that the Covid-19 Virus isn't anything to fool around with.

Borris barely made it through his ordeal after landing in the ICU, but at least Borris didn't need to be put on a ventilator.

I wonder if trump will try taking his miracle cure again, or if he'll actually listen to knowledgeable and experienced medical and scientific advice this time?

Trying to get assault charges to stick might really be a stretch.

Manslaughter charges might be a possibility, it's ready been floated out there in the past tying trump to the total death count, and that's now bolstered by the Woodward recordings!

Knowingly and wantonly ...

Presidents don’t get charged with assault or murder. That is not to say that through one’s bad judgement, inaction, irresponsibility, and stupidity; their hands are not bloody.
