Shooting while driving...
The prosecutor will hang your a** and rightly so.
Hey from Ca. what do you expect ?
I definitely don't want to be on the same road as you. Even with all the modern technology in our cars today -- you are too dangerous.
Sadly I've seen the same "photographic technique" used by a cyclist going down a steep decent. We caught up with him and a philanthropic rider amongst us gave the guy $400 cash and told him to buy a GoPro to mount on his helmet. There are always kind ways to handle this type of issue is all this is meant to do.
On another ride with the same generous rider we came past a guy fully masked against the corona virus and his helmet dangling on his handlebars. We agreed nothing could be done to adjust his proprieties in determining risks but we all hoped he has not yet nor will he in the future provide the ingredients for human birth.
I think you forgot to explain to everyone that there is no road. You're driving through this dead flat open field in a convertible and the only thing in sight in any direction is an occasional small tree. I'm impressed that the horizon is flat. Nice picture..

Actually according to an article done by a highway patrol officer who did a study of it decades ago the average California driver, esp the regular commuters are among the most skilled drivers in the country - just from shear number of hours/experience. But he said a certain % were crazy and the others actually showed their highest skills in avoiding the crazy ones. It is just the crazy ones and the things they cause when everyone doesn't manage to avoid them makes the news. And with 40 million people in CA even a small % of crazy drivers makes for a lot of "Six O'clock News" time.
I will add one bit of advice for the OP. Middle of no where, just pull over - take a couple of frames and then get back on the road. Safe and the few minutes later getting where you are going - well at least you are more likely to get there.
Two examples of your poor judgment. First was that you were dumb enough to do what you did. Second, you didn't have the sense not to post the image and tell the story, thereby confirming your lack of common sense. Other than that, I hope your next offering gets a better response.
