Has anyone gotten theirs yet?
If so, do you mind sharing when ordered and received and who from?
Ordered last month from Adorama and they have no clue on availability.
I got mine last week from B&H, ordered in mid May.

Wow. Looks like I need some patience.
Thanks.

No, you just need to order from B&H. They are excellent.

And their site says
Back-Ordered just like everyone else, including Nikon USA

did not know this. It has been a long while since I have dealt with them.
I ordered mine from: Bergen County Camera in New Jersey. Super friendly. Ordered it Saturday and it's arriving today, Tuesday. Nikon USA warranty of course. I have been on the B&H wait list for months and still no word.

Ordered from Adorama on June 23 and received the lens on September 3. I did not order this lens until some professional reviews are available.
Very good lens you will be very happy. I sold my 24-70f4 to mpb .

Seems like too-long-a-wait.
Thank you all.
I am somewhat reassured that some of you have yours, albeit with a several month wait, and that some have come recently. It means to me that production is happening now vs. being stopped.
Anyone wish to share images or comments about it?

I would try a smaller camera shop if one is available to you. The bigger places receive lots of orders and the wait list is going to be longer. I got one in two days from Mike's Camera (stores in Colorado and California). Had a chance to use it for a while and it's a great walk-around lens. Well built (but not a S line lens) and fits nicely on the Z6. I took this photo last week when we had a bad smoke day from the wild fires.

Thanks for advice and image.
Our local camera store is closing. But we have a Best Buy I can try.
Fussing around on the Nikon site I learned I need to send my 200-500 in for another (free) firmware update. And I am close to convincing myself I need a Z50 with two lens kit. The 50-250 would fill in for now. Plus I can use 18-300 or 70-300 on it w FTZ adapter.
Meanwhile I have FX and DX 70-300s I can use...the latter on my D5600. If I go with the Z50 the D5600 and some of its lenses will go down the road. And maybe even my GM5 with two lenses.

Did it say what the update was for? The only update I could find was from 2016 and predated my lens build date.
