I reverted back to Luminar 4.2, after exhausting the fixes that had been recommended.

Just FYI
A new version is out. They are touting a lot of improvements including speed.

I installed it and there is definitely an improvement in speed. I am using it on a Windows 8.1 laptop I bought 7 years ago with 6 GB RAM.

I've had Luminar since it first became available for Windows. Have major problems with the Photoshop plugin and am trying to resolve issues with Skylum tech support. At this point I wish I never updated to 4.3, and have asked how I can roll back to the previous version.

If you still have a copy of Luminar 4.2, you should be able to uninstall 4.3 and reinstall 4.2.

When I purchased Luminar 4.0 the colours where off compared to photoshop. I spoke to Skylum several times but I ended up finding a fix myself. I recalibrated my Benq SW2700 monitor and unchecked the save to system level on my Mac Pro. I'm now running 4.3 and the colours are perfect.

After trying all the suggested "fixes", that's what I had to do. Uninstalled 4.3, cleaned the registry up with CCleaner, and used the offline installer for 4.2 (which I have if anyone needs it). Everything went smoothly and Luminar now works as a Photoshop plugin again. Not sure what the issue is with 4.3 and why it works fine for some people. There is a lot of discussion on this in the Skylum Luminar community pages.

I installed Luminar 4.3 but it didn't install as a plug in to PS. Anyone else having that problem.

There is a known issue with 4.3 and problems with installing it as a PS plugin. I reverted back to 4.2, and everything now works fine.
