Have you noticed all the whack-jobs trying to undermine our DULY ELECTED President?

I am laughing too hard to type more

I had a positive from Prime when I went on line to check on a package yesterday. Tracking told me it was six stops away. It arrived about a half hour later and a day earlier than originally predicted.

May I offer a correction? It’s β€˜wack job’(like in wacky).

None of this is funny. The divisiveness, the tribal divide will ruin this country while some watch, and you laugh.
Again, what is happening in this country is a far cry from laughable.

No problem, in 2008 I assume you helped elect a president with absolutely no experience, history, or qualifications in anything (excepting anarchy and racial preference). Hell, he even received the Nobel prize before he was settled into his office. In spite of that choice, this great nation has survived.

I have children and grandchildren, and I sincerely hope this great nation survives Trump. I mean that.

Trump is a threat as no other President has ever been before, and I fear the worst.

Lighten up. The country survived Obama. YOU can survive Trump. Put on NPR, put on the Birkenstocks, and have a Double Decaf Mocha Latte and relax.

USPS does a wonderful job in my area, and are my preferred. UPS does a great job. Amazon is getting better (Amazon's own delivery system), and Fedex is still behind.

Want to hear my USPS horror story? I'm going to tell you it anyway! I ordered an item off of Ebay; it was promptly shipped with a USPS tracking number. I tracked it for three days and it finally arrived at my local post office early in the morning. I thought I would receive it that day although it never said, "out for delivery." It didn't arrive the next day, or the next, or the next, you get the point.

I went to the post office to find out the status of the package. The counter person looked up the tracking number and said, "A supervisor will call you tomorrow; if she doesn't call you, here is her number and ask for ****." (Name intentionally omitted).

Two days later I called the post office and asked for ****. "You'll have to call back. She doesn't come until 11:00 a.m." At noon I called and got in contact with ****.

The long story short: "Your package is not here; it was sent to the next sorting facility."
"But, your post office is the final destination for the package."
"It's not here. It was sent to the next sorting facility."
"Where is that sorting facility?" (It wasn't listed in the tracking information).
"I don't know where the next sorting facility is. But it is on the way there."
"Why would you send it some place when you are the final destination?"
"This wasn't the final destination for the package. That is why we sent it to the next sorting facility."
"When will I receive my package?"
"When it arrives here and we send it out for delivery."
"But you had the package and the tracking information doesn't say where you sent it to."
"We never received your package..."
"But the tracking information says you did and still have it."
"We never received you package."
"You mean the tracking information is wrong?"
"No, it is right, but we never received your package."
"When will I get my package?"
"If you did this through Amazon, contact them. The problem is with them."
"No, the problem is with you. According to you data, the package is at your post office and is still at your post office."
"You, don't understand; we never received you package."
"But the tracking data says that you did."
"But we didn't. Please contact the sender; the problem is with them."
In frustration I hung up the phone.

I did contact the seller. He profusely apologized (for a problem he did not cause) and sent out a new product which I received three days later (through the USPS!).

That's PRESIDENT Trump to you.

It's pretty obvious by now that the people with history and experience with the postal service couldn't find their ass with either hand. Maybe it's time one of President Trump's rich business friends is given a chance to figure it out. If he can't, President Trump can fire him and find someone else to take a shot at it. It's called rewarding success instead of hangers on.

And here I thought it was President Bonespurs. My mistake.

My original post in this thread was the Trump appointment of a rich contributing crony, with no Postal experience, as the new Postmaster General. That is relevant to any discussion of the performance, and the future performance of the Postal Service, don’t you think?

And that's to say nothing of how t-rump said he wants to bankrupt the Postal Service because they won't screw Amazon and he hates that Bezos owns the Washington Post which identifies all of t-rump's lies.

Well, be happy you have a PO. When the donald gets funding stopped for it, you wont have to complain about the service anymore. You may not have mail service anymore, either, but hey.......

I don't see "Presidential Election" anywhere in the subject of this thread.

Thank you for saying this, Festus. For God's sake people..Can you just keep your political views to yourselves ?

No we are all on one side or another just like our forefathers wanted it to be.
How sad we can not let our childish political views stay outside.
Instead we follow the MSMs instructions about how to think & how to
treat our fellow citizens.

This is childish and petty watching as normal in the past adults who are calling names.
Do any of you remember back when we judged others by a morel code of Civilized behavior?

What happened who changed the rules? Why do you fall for it?

I joined UHH to discuss Photography, not to support a political party who never cared
for anyone but themselves.
