These are all amazing; good luck trying to pick just one! (From a personal preference and aesthetic appeal, I liked #2 - but that's just me!!!)

I am trying to pick a photo to enter into our local sporting goods store's contest...here is the link with the current photo's entered http://www.snappysphotocontest.com/ take a peak at the current shots and please help me decide which shot to enter that would give me the best opportunity to win! I am really having a hard time picking on...lol

My first impression was #1 -- definitely the best shot, but was it the most challenging shot to take? I think the moose in Mary's Pond might be the one to go with. Who will judge? If someone from a wildlife federation, I would go with #1. If someone familiar with photography, then #4. Someone with photo knowledge would appreciate the difficulty in getting a good moose shot. To have one turned so as to get the nice light on the antlers and highlight in the eye -- well those shots do not come along that often.

I think it is important to know what the venue is likely looking for. #1 is a most impressive portrait that would look best hanging in Cabella's or Bass Pro. The #4 could also look quite awesome in those stores. In a normal typical photo contest I think #2 would be your winner by dialing down exposure a bit.

For a sporting goods store I would select #1 or #4 The last one is a good landscape shot but usually not of much interest to a sportsman

Spectacular shots! I agree with pixelstan77's choice and reason. I like the light to dark and the texture of the horns stands out. I'm sure you played with the exposure by now to see if a slight change would help in the lighter areas. Good luck and let us know which one you chose and why.
