I went out the mailbox just before 11:00 and saw the Fedex truck coming up Kansa Ln. I saved the driver the walk up to my door and got my package from KEH.
Once I had all the bubble wrap off I turned the lens over in my hands. I found one small scratch on the focal length barrel and just a bit of missing ink on the VR insignia. Both I really had to look hard to find. I'm grateful for them, frankly. Those marks got the lens busted down to BGN grade and saved me over 30 bucks. Otherwise it looks and works like new.

- KEH is Awesome!! I have been totally satisfied with every item purchased from them!
.. Coupla' years ago I bought a "for parts only" lens from KEH eBay. A Minolta 35mm MC W.ROKKOR - HG. The pictures with the listing showed an incredibly good looking lens for being "for parts only" The glass looked clear. So, for $8.00 + $6.95 shipping, I thought I'd take a chance for use on my MFT cameras - figuring maybe I could take it apart and fix it if needed.
~ When the lens arrived, it looked to be brand new or at least used very little. The mount showed no mounting marks from use. Clear glass without any scratches or even dust/dirt inside the elements! The focus ring turned smooth with just the right amount of resistance. It also came with front and rear original caps.
~ So what was wrong? The aperture ring was stuck wide open! AND... It had a slight funny odor that I could not place, but, seemed familiar. After looking a bit I found a slight brown sticky spot so I cleaned that off but had no effect on the aperture changing.
~ OK, then - time to take the back of the lens apart. If I ruined it, I was only out the money paid. Once I had the aperture ring area apart, I could see a lot more of the brown sticky stuff circling it. AND the smell became more prevalent - and I RECOGNIZED it!! Dr. Pepper Soda/Pop!! OMG! someone had spilled pop on it and never used it again!! Well, I cleaned it up, put it back together and wha' cha' know!! Works awesome!! Whooohooo!!
What's nice about KEH is you can actually talk to a person who will go pick up the item and relay the condition to you and discuss your situation and expectations. My rep told me that he'd never allow me to buy an unusable or not presentable camera or lens. Those items are for people who tinker or use them for parts. My experience has been top notch as a buyer and a seller. KEH is my first stop when GAS approaches. After all, everything we all own and use is used equipment.

Never disappointed in KEH. My dealim
Ngs with KEH. Last significant purchase was a Tokina 100 mm f2.8 macro. Graded BGN, looks and shots like new.

The strap was grade LN. I didn't even bother to look it over much, I just started putting it on the camera.
It took me awhile to find out how to get the camera out of Manual mode and into Program mode.
I took a couple of shots of the TV to see if the lens indeed worked in AF. Perfect.
So here's more praise for KEH. They are just a pleasure to deal with.
Out to take a few pictures to attach to this message.

Hi Rick,
Based on your examples, I am surprised that you can say the lens is good.. It made half of the dog black....
Nice pics...
Good one Bob. Ziggy and I were at a Casey's one afternoon not long ago when a car drove in next to us with a dog in the back seat that was almost the mirror image of Ziggy. They had a great chat and the people in the car were getting quite the laugh out of them, too. I wish we had been at a place where they could have gotten to play together. That would have really been something.

I have purchased quite a lot of photo equipment from KEH over the years and have never had a problem.
