[quote=Chinaman]You photoart is outstanding and Point of view is a great thread idea. "Perspective is not only where you are standing, but your outlook on life, and how you see the world!"

Most photos are taken at eye level of the standing person. Change your shooting position sometimes if you physically can - sit or squat down, lie on your front or back, get up high and look down, crane your neck and look up. You'll be amazed at the different perspectives and interesting images you'll get. Enjoy, and comment if you wish to. Or add your examples.

Chinaman....Sometimes we forget to go beyond the more obvious. Your photos were a pleasant reminder. Great images!

Wow. Yes. Great shots and much needed on this forum. Thank you for your talent and insight.

I've been getting so frustrated here. Seems like the best photogs have been leaving. (iI'm not counting the Captain -a superb portrait photographer or Roger Francis - the king of rangefinders). But The Alaskan is gone. Notnobuddah ain't here no more - although he posted not much, like I do. Seems like we've been left with flowers and squirrels and hummingbirds.

Please keep posting. You inspire, and encourage to stretch. That needs to be done. Thank you.

I have no problems crawling through dirt, sand or whatever if I can get the shot I want. Let's be real, I've gotten dirty for shots that that sucked.

Good post to provoke the different viewpoint.

And good pictures to show how.

Nice shots Chinaman,

You're right on. Camera angle changes how we see everything.

Please keep seeing and sharing.

Thank you Bernie. Very true about the angle changing the perspective. One aspect that I don't think many photographers think about is how the amount of mid-ground in the picture is changing as one change from standing up to squating down. That can affect the composition and balance of the image.

Love the perspective shots. This one made use of the articulating LCD screen.

Nice one Waldron. You should try this in HDR.

That's why my next camera will have an articulated screen. Wonderfully exposed and composed, but a dirt spot is visible. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, I noticed the spot on the posted one also. Fixed it with Photoshop Elements and I have cleaned my sensor since then.

Really a wonderful image, MtnMan. Did you peel that petal down on the right tulip or you saw it and realised how it enhances the image? Either way, you did great.

Very nice Chinaman, enjoyed all. Like the different perspectives

Thank you greg. Not your kind of subjects I think. They are too static and not far enough.
