Lots more available....or you can stick with just a manual.

I am glad I called up this post. I was just getting ready to order two of Perry's books and then
I saw on this post that they are not printed books at all but electronic dvds, not books at all. Bummer, good bye Perry, I would buy a print version but electronic versions, no way.

You are only short changing yourself. 1. The content is fabulous. 2. Steve does periodically update/correct the content AND NOTIFY YOU WITH FREE REVISIONS AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD. Note these are pdf files, not dvd's, so if you read UHH, you already have everything you need to receive and read the updates and new editions.

With each "book" well over 500 illustrated pages, you are not shortchanged in any way. In print they would easily cost more than double what he charges and still be worth the money. Time to think like it's the 21st Century!

Time to think like it's the 21st Century![/quote]

I am very grateful for the internet and today's technology but there are still a few things I prefer to do "old school" and books are one of those. I never have to worry about a book running out of battery life and needing to recharge. A book won't crash and need to be rebooted and with a little care will last for centuries. I have yet to figure out how to enter notes in the margins of a book on my iPad.

JUST MY OPINION!!!

I know it's been mentioned by others on here (that's how I learned about it), but I thought it was so important that it deserved a separate thread.

If you're using a Nikon DSLR, you need to read Steve Perry's "Secrets to the Nikon Autofocus System." Here's a link:

https://bcgwebstore.com/product/secrets-to-the-nikon-autofocus-system/

I'm a new Nikon D850 user (and relatively new to DSLRs in general), but I feel confident in saying that if you're using a Nikon DSLR (any model) and have not read Steve Perry's book, you're probably not getting all that you can be, or should be, getting out of your camera.

Perry's book is clear and well written, and it includes lots of practical advice that goes well beyond the owners manual (or other books that I have seen to this point).

It's only $20 bucks . . . you won't regret it.
I know it's been mentioned by others on here (that... (show quote)

I tell all my Nikon friends and UHH members to read a study Steve Perry. I own his books and I am subscribed to his YouTube postings. He is a Nikon focus system guru.
