I've been slow to process photos from my recent trip due to a death in the family. Just haven't had the desire to look and process them and still haven't uploaded images from two of the camera's. Anyhow, the funeral arrangements are being finalized and I will be leaving for southern California in the next day or two.

Here are a few from a quick look-see this morning.

It would be very tough to lose my sister. Hopefully your photos will bring you joy and remind you of a beautiful place. I just read about a wonderful pro photographer who generally leaves her most recent photos on a flash card for many months before she looks at them. She does so on purpose, thinking that she will be more objective about their quality is she waits. I especially like the deep blues of your skies.

I enjoyed seeing your images. The foreground elements you included in most of the images, give us a more intimate look at the wonders in Monument Valley compared to many of the 'wider' views of the Valley.

Well done, and best wishes in dealing with the death of your sister.
