I know everyone who's been on UHH for awhile knows that KEH is a reputable place for used gear. But for those new people who don't know, I wanted to share my latest experience. I did a lot of research on getting a Nikon F100 film camera and settled on one from KEH rated "Excellent". It came in 2 days, free shipping. And the camera is in better than excellent condition. It doesn't look like it's ever been used. No scratches, no marks, no stickiness, all works perfectly. So if anyone new on here is looking for used gear, check out KEH!
My experience with KEH is the same. I highly recommend them.
I've had VG experiences there also

Yes indeed ! Their "Excellent " is more like " MINT" from my experience with them. I highly recommend them for anyone seeking great and reliable bargains in camera gear.

Good business practices cause businesses to be well received by the public. KEH has this type of reputation. They came by it honestly, and that is fairly uncommon in today's business world. Enjoy the new addition, and keep in mind where it came from. Now, how about a new (used) lens for your new baby?
The stuff KEH labels BGN(bargain) may look rough but it works well.
I just bought a Pentax 55-300mm PLM WRE(and the rest of the alphabet) from them in "excellent" condition for $100 less then what I see elsewhere. They shipped it yesterday. Having bought both cameras and lenses from them before, I'm expecting the best.....PS: just received the lens this morning and it's in perfect condition; not a scratch on it and it works perfectly on my K-70.
I bought an Olympus lens recently from KEH. It still had the protective sticker on the lens cap.
Same experience with KEH over many years. Not always the cheapest source, but I always got at least what I paid for and usually more.
BTW, the F100 was the last of many film Nikons I owned over ~30 years and by far the easiest to use in a hurry (my daughter was competing in horse jumping events when I had that camera.). If I had to go back to film I would probably choose it again.
Can't go wrong with KEH, used or new.

KEH is a wonderful place to buy quality new and used equipment. And there are other places to buy also. Many times you can get a better deal on Ebay, with the box, and 30 days money back guarantee from Ebay.
And you get to rate the individual, not a company.
Well...thanks for the heads up!
I'm returning to LF film after a rather long hiatus - still have the lenses but sold off the camera itself , so I'm prowling around looking for a used metal field camera body.
There's always a number of them on eBay ( usually from Japan) but nearly all in my price range have questionable bellows....after reading your post I went over to KEH ( had actually forgotten the existed !) and lo! at least two worthy - both Toyo's) of a drool...and maybe a purchase!
And with the positive comments about KEH, I really don't have any reservations!
thanks again!
