Allstrum Point is out into the Lake Powell area on the other side from Page. It's a dirt road, best with 4x4, but not necessary if one is a tiny bit careful. The Views of Lake Powell are quite spectacular. This image is an example.

I love rock formations - that was definitely caused by waterπππ€π€
Absolutely fantastic photograph, Rick. I've been to Lake Powell many times but never seen it from that perspective.

I would give you more thumbs, but that is all I have.
Great picture. I have overnighted on the point a couple of times. Very quiet with beautiful views in all directions.
Absolutely beautifully done. Thank you once again for a wonderful photo.
I do believe that the green is due to algae, the water there is quite shallow and it takes over when the conditions are right. You will notice that the water further away is quite blue as it is much deeper there. Last time I was on Lake Powell, I did not see any green waters, however when on a boat it might only look like it is a bit murky, also I would not be taking a boat into the shallow waters by choice. Hope this answers the question as to the green water.
Awesome. You do find the most beautiful places.
