Allstrum Point is out into the Lake Powell area on the other side from Page. It's a dirt road, best with 4x4, but not necessary if one is a tiny bit careful. The Views of Lake Powell are quite spectacular. This image is an example.

Stunning in the DL. Well done~
There's a crazy amount of resolution in this picture. Zooming in on the download, I think I can see what might be two people in a boat. Any ideas why some of the water is green?
Very nice shot of what once was one of the loveliest places on earth. I mean, of course, Glen Canyon before the damn Dam was built.

The backwater areas are much more shallow, have generally less water flow or exchange, are generally warmer. My thought is that algae can grow more easily in these areas, leading to the green color. Perhaps another hog can answer.
Beautiful scene and image. I see the boat also and maybe the green is algae growing on the bottom of the lake.

There are 2 people fishing from a small boat. I hadn't noticed. Good spot, hanks for looking and sharing your keen observation.
Wow! What a scene so masterfully captured.
