My daughter is a student and the cost is 50% off. Had the discount for years since the account is for all house members.

Prime in Italy is a bargain even when it increased to 36 euro.

I don't watch Amazon TV much. But I do like Prime's shopping perks. I wish I could unbundle the two.

200 items per year? I suspect we score just about the same. I can live with the $120/year.

They’re trying to compensate for the big loss in near-term revenue by implementing their own fast delivery service. As I recall, they took a big hit on profits this year due to that, but Amazon is known for being willing to compromise short-term profits for long-term gain. Not sure of everyone else’s experience, but I’ve found Primes own delivery service to be an order of magnitude better than UPS or FedX.

On Veteran’s Day, Amazon ran a $80 for a year special, new or renewal.

Amazon Prime subscription was raised to $119 last January. For me, it's still a bargain.

Usually one day here even on Sundays and Holidays. Wonder how many gray prime trucks the purchased?

Jerry,
This occurred very early in 2019. You probably are just seeing it on your renewal.

Wish more of us knew about the Veteran Day special pricing.

Yeah. I was able to take advantage of the Veteran's Day pricing. But evan at 119.00 per year ($10 per month), it is a very good value.

Yeah, he gives us what we want and the shipping is free. The deal is that a lot of stuff can be dollar stuff. Shipping would kill a sale like that for me. I'd have to go to a brick an mortar store and put up with the distracted drivers with their magic thumbs and not to mention the rude shoppers in the store. I'm 82 and still a very competent driver with 20/20 vision and get around the stores very well. I just can't stand these angry drivers and rude shoppers. The more I can shop at Amazon and get free delivery the better. I paid the $120 and didn't even blink the value is still there in spades.

It's well worth it. You can buy canned food which I do, pet food, which I do and in some areas Whole Foods feature delivery.

I don't have a problem with a business man creating a great business model that gives me all what Amazon offers

Instead of returning the Amazon Fire stick, Google the problem. I did and it works again. The price increase sucks, but still worth it.
