Amazon Prime Price Increase

Amazon just billed me for another year of Prime, and it seems the price has gone from $99 to $119. They're probably wondering how high they can go before people start leaving the service. I place over two hundred orders a year, so saving on the shipping is worth it. Prime Video is nice, but there are so many other options for watching TV. By the way, my new Fire TV stick seems to have stopped working. If it's still not working today, I'll return it.

Yep Jerry, one of those pesky little issues with subscriptions, they always go up w/out notice. Heck, $20 is a substantial increase over the original rate. I have both Prime Video and Netflix and I watch Prime about 80% more than Netflix...I also have Britbox & Acorn, my wife just loves the British shows. Tried Hulu and immediately cancelled the subscription, not even close to Prime in content selection, for me. Guess we'll just have to eat those increases....
but the content is great...

Yes, still worth $10 a month... includes movies and music and wow fast delivery.
Have you noticed that UTube has an ad at the top and the selections often now have two ads to skip before the selected program? Just noting... but it is still free.

Iβd love to know how they determine these increases. Ours just went from $99 to $105 but a 5% increase is much easier to handle than a 20% hit.

Isn't there free shipping when the order totals $50 or something like that? If so, just wait until your order reaches the free shipping mark before pulling the trigger.

I have had Prime for a few years now. I just looked up the new pricing for Canada and there is no change
.........Yet. Still $79 a year....Thatβs under $60 US. Maybe you are getting something we arenβt.
