Sorry but not one of the items you mentioned should come under the control of government, any part of government. What makes America free is the ability do change things to suit you. You have a complaint with stores then contact the store and alert them of your feelings. I am not sure what you mean by a traffic light filter but honestly, how hard is it to know what the traffic light is telling motorists. Red= STOP, Yellow=CAUTION, Green=GO THROUGH. Of course caution should always be exercised.
Each store I go into seems to have a somewhat different credit card machine. Yet I am an adult and can figure it out. If any of these things honestly has so much of a negative effect on your life then perhaps you need to settle down and just take a chill pill. I don't disagree the world seems to be spinning a bit faster these days but at 73 I am still able to figure things out. If not I ask someone to show me how to do it. Not a problem.

There are some good suggestions here but if the government took any action to fix them that would only increase the bureaucracy and its attendant inefficiencies. The suggestion I like best is for the CNN and MSNBC and the rest of the MSM for that matter to take the day off when the president plays a round of golf. If they reported on how his game was that might be worthwhile. The problem is that they don't.

My last suggestion is that for every new regulation the government imposes they need to rescind 10.

We need progressive legislation protecting the right of each individual vehicle to choose whichever side it self identifies as...gas cap on the driver or passenger side.
Vehicles have rights too! Protect their right to choose! Gas cap equality is a fundamental freedom.
