Thanks for looking, Blair. Most of my flower pictures this time of year are weeds.

I totally agree I have been taking weed photos here in the Western New York area for years now with both my Nikon Camera and my cellphone . Very pleasing hobby !!! Patches of weeds flowering weeds can be strikingly beautiful . I can not tell you how many times i have stopped as i walk to a destination to take pictures of weeds or domesticated plants in gardens and around business offices . One of the aspects I find very interesting about taking images of plants ( both flowering and not ) is that with a photo app like ACDsee you can do wonderful things to your image by selecting the negative effect ... some plants give off totally new viewing experience under negative effect especially when there are color changes to various hues of purple mauve etc ... not all plants are alike some just go negative image without color im not sure what causes the color change but often it is dramatic and very pleasing to toy with

Yup. One person's weed is another person's wild flower.

I've always believed that any plant can be considered a weed if it is in a place where it isn't wanted, and any "weed" can be welcome if you want it wherever it is !

The very definition of a weed. Thanks for looking, flashgordonbrown.

An nice example of "Bokeh", but in the download version here, the Flower & the Stem seem to be a tad out of Focus too.

Am I right or Wrong with my point of view.?
Maybe you wanted it that way.

It was shot that way. Macro lenses have a shallow depth of field. Yes, I wanted it that way. Thank you for looking and for commenting, Silverrails.

I have a book on Western Weeds that calls a Yucca a weed. Any plant that is not where it is wanted can be called a weed.
