Weed?? No, no, no. That is a false foxglove, maybe Agalinis fasciculata - "Beach false foxglove" which occurs down your way. We have a couple of species that occur here. There are 30+ species in North America.

Weeds are simply plants out of place. There is really no such thing as a "weed". Thanks for looking.
