Nice work using an apparently excellent lens. The curvature is barely discernible.

I have had an 8mm fisheye for a long time, but I wanted the same FOV without all the curves, so I bought a Sigma 8-16mm about a year ago. This is a DX lens & has a full frame equivalent of 12-24mm on my D500. These shots around my little town were taken on my first outing with this lens. I was amazed at how vertically straight everything is. Every shot was at 8mm. Downloading is recommended.

D500/Sigma 8-16mm.

Earl, the 3rd & 4th shots really bring out the effect of the 8mm lens.

I somehow missed these shots Earl, but they are excellent. I like Sigma and will keep yours in mind if I decide to go wide angle. My sharpest lens is a Sigma 70mm f2.8 Macro which takes excellent family portraits.
