Some fun with an 8mm (not a fisheye).

I have had an 8mm fisheye for a long time, but I wanted the same FOV without all the curves, so I bought a Sigma 8-16mm about a year ago. This is a DX lens & has a full frame equivalent of 12-24mm on my D500. These shots around my little town were taken on my first outing with this lens. I was amazed at how vertically straight everything is. Every shot was at 8mm. Downloading is recommended.

Not much I like better than "walking around" photos, particularly of a place I've never been! More, please! :-)

Wouldn't a fish eye, cropped to a horizontal give the same images?
