Point being....despite being born during a time of slavery, was America and the American Flag and what they stood for responsible for the end of slavery? Perhaps the fact that union soldiers gave their lives under the banner of that flag for the purpose of ending slavery, carrying all the ideals of the Founding Fathers (despite the fact that they, too may have owned slaves!!) and the Constitution into battle as they gave life and limb....for freedom for all. Kaepernick doesn't get it and he doesn't get this country. Nike doesn't either.

Kaepernick is a narcissist, self-centered, spoiled, racist, millennial brat.

If it wasn't for slavery that dumb bastard wouldn't be here to make as much money as he does. If he doesn't get like it here he should get his ass back to Africa and see how well off he would be. I don't see any of these bitchers and complainers booking one way tickets to the homeland. Maybe we should repatriate their asses back to their roots. They should quit whining and complaining.

Nike will lose some buyers (American?) because of this decision. Will it be enough loss to make Nike feel any remorse about the decision, we have to wait and see.

It’s important to note that Mr. Kaepernick is under contract to NIKE to provide a service to the company. His judgement carries much weight with the company. Much the same way celebrities and marksman influence the NRA.

Nike sells EVERYTHING with their name on it. The company leadership is superior to many other companies.

How cute. Trump has way more money, is not a whiny kneeler protesting whatever, and has actually contributed to society with business and jobs.

We don’t know much about Trump’s financial...yet. Trump’s businesses and charities are shams and it seems Trump likes to import his help from former Soviet Satellite Countries. So what exactly has he down. His biggest project, the salvation of white America has done nothing positive and is sure to fail.

Krapernick bellyaches about incidents hundreds of years ago, while ignoring the ongoing slave trade in today's world. The most active route is Africa to Saudi Arabia, however the Saudis value White women more highly than Black.

I thought Kaperidiot's issue was hatred for the police doing their jobs protecting the innocent public from criminals like him.
Why is this worthless piece of garbage now dictating to America about our historic flag?
