Here are a few more photos from my Waterfalls Workshop, June 23-26 in the Ithaca/Watkins Glen area. All were taken with my Nikon D7000 with the 18-55 mm DX G ED VRII lens, variable ND filter, f/16-20, 6-10 second exposure, manual focus, ISO 100. As always, C/C welcome! Very, very nice. Who says you can't take great photos with a kit lens.
Outstanding. Proves what a good photographer can do with a "kit" lens.
You are having fun! It makes all the difference when you have these kinds of falls to work with. Great job!
Fine work here! Waterfalls are not easy.
Very nice. did you bracket and merge exposures?
They look great. Shooting water falls with a slow shutter speed has become a cliche and I seldom see a shot of a waterfall here where the technique has not been used and abused. No merits shooting those subjects at a fast shutter speed?
I always shoot waterfalls both ways, with a slow and a fast shutter speed. Many times I prefer the shorter shutter speed but that is me.

Very well captured! Like them all.
No bracketing was performed. I used Lightroom CC for merging photos together.
And yes,! AM having fun! I love to capture memories. I attend these workshops to learn new composition techniques and expand my circle of like minded photographers. I’ve signed up for a night photography workshop in late July in the Adirondacks that I’m looking forward to.
