I do a lot of flower pix and have come to the conclusion that simple is best. Of the 6 you've posted - 1 is good but I feel would be better with the background blacked out. 2 - is too busy. 3 - would have been better without the buds and with the blemishes on the petals removed. 4 - Great. 5 - Bin it and 6 - Great.
Between 4 & 6 it's difficult to choose probably 4 and definitely so if it were slightly brighter

torn between # 4 and #6 leaning more to 4....like the focus but comp on 6 is awesome. Keep up the good work!

I like number 4 the best, the colors are beautiful and the overall feel of the photo is very delicate.

#4 for me I love the black background and the lighting. After that 2 with a square crop to get rid of some of the unimportant foliage in the background. Since you didn't upload an original that hinges on it being in tack sharp focus. I think this one has the most interesting subject. I also like #5, but am not sure if the cropped petals would get points deducted.

Yes, exactly - otherwise, #6 - the lighting in the flower and the stillness of the water pop pretty well.

They are all great. As I went down through them they got better and better. Hard choice between the last 3. #4 looks like a studio shot, stunning, love the lighting. #5 love the color! #6 so peaceful, its perect to me. I might lean towards 4.

There will be many very good flower pictures. Yours have to be different to capture attention.

I agree, but I'd heal out the bug on the Pink lotus.
