I'll overlook the accuracy of the dates and focus on the humor instead. It's sadly very true.

Just what I needed this morning.....thanks
It's eve more hilarious that some people didn't see the humor in this one.....it ran right over them.
I'm glad that most of you have a sense of humor and the world needs of this behavior.

My Golden Rule: Never trust anyone who doesn't have a sense of humor!

Did you really need that explained? I mean really?
I did. I'm only on my second cup of coffee, but confess to totally missing the point.

I agree. With over half the world having cell phones we should have tons of pictures of Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster, and leprechauns by now....

Although the timeline is off a bit off, its irrelevant. The point is well made and the humor is abundantly clear.

Thanks for the chuckle!
It is not historically accurate, but that is not the point, and who cares? And I laughed out loud at the implications! Well stated...

Well, yeah. The timeline is way off. My wife said yes during that low miracle period.

You could make a chart like this with "UFO Sightings". Now that everyone in the world carries around a phone with a camera, where are all the flying saucers?
So you think with a hundred billion stars in our galaxy alone, with 10 times that number as planets revolving around those stars, and a hundred billion galaxies in the universe ... we’re the only planet with intelligent life?
And that intelligent “time” only started with us? Really?? You don’t think there have probably been advanced civilizations around for billions of years, who observe our progress and species much like we observed one celled animals in a Petrie dish in biology class in high school? I don’t remember trying to communicate with the contents of the Petrie dish ... but rather to observe it.
I’m constantly amazed at how people continue to think that we are the center of the universe, and that all intelligence out there started with us. Just goes to show you how “unintelligent” we really are as a species.

I don't believe we are the only intelligent life in the nearly infinite universe, but find it much harder to believe some of them have advanced far enough to travel the immense distances of space to find us and come here secretly to observe us. That is much more difficult than us observing a petrie dish. I believe in UFOs - flying objects which have not been identified. There are much more likely possibilities than alien spacecraft.

Have you ever heard of “Moore’s Law,” which states that the speed of technology/computers doubles every 18 months? Think of our advances in computers, for example, in the past 50 years. There have been more technological advances in the past 100 years than in the entire history of mankind! And we’re only talking about a mere hundred years ... not billions of years.

Yes I did. Forgive me for being literal. Perhaps if “miracles” had been in quotes …. And also because I am from an era where significant darkroom manipulation was common the invocation of “photoshop” seemed less of a trigger.
And there weren't really all that many photographers doing digital image editing back in 1988 either; its growth was more of a slow, gradual thing. I wasn't even aware of "photoshop" until the early 90's.
