SOLD (EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III)

SOLD as of 04/18/2013

This is an older model purchased new in 2006 and used with a Rebel XTi (EOS 400D). I’m including the lens, caps, lens hood (ET-60), a Promaster UV 58mm filter and a Neoprene bag. Pictures may tell a thousand words, but they can’t include that there’s no creep, no rattles /noise when shaken, nor damage or excessive wear. No scratches on the glass, no fungus, no blemishes.

Ground shipping included for any US destination, all for $85. PayPal or USPS Money Orders only. Send PM and we can work out the details.

To answer the question of what can he do today, the pictures from the Lincoln Park Conservatory were taken this afternoon in Chicago. He’s served me well and hopefully you’ll enjoy as well. The 75-300mm length on a crop sensor equates to 110-450mm. For a larger gallery of images taken with this lens, see a posting in the photo gallery at: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-99398-1.html

Hi Paul,
There are know creeks, rattles ect. means good condition? How do we work out the details? I'm about to buy the 400 canon prime also. Is that to much overlap? I assume the 75-300 is a canon.

Hi Paul,
Did you get may last reply? Iam still interested in the lense. No creeks or rattles? Joking I assume. Let me know what would one need the 400 prime as well as 75-300? I guess one could not have to many lenses. Ha

dhendrick - speaking from experience. If you have the 100-400mm L class lens you would never use this 75-300mm lens

Thanks I agree. I'm leaning toward the 400 (5.6)prime. After much thought I would be using the higher end so opted for a littler sharper pic vs multiple focal lengths. What is your thought on this. Also any advice on tripod and head? Thanks for your reply and help on my questioms.

Donna / Bob - I agree completely this lens is not in the same league as any L quality lens. He's up for sale at a modest price because he doesn't get any mount time on my cameras after I added the 70-200L. However, if you hijack my posting with a discussion of lenses costing 10x more $ than this little lens ... I might never find someone interested in finding this guy a new home. Thx

Just saw an UHH suggestion on how to determine the sold prices on eBay. I see I was doing this comparison incorrectly when trying to determine a competitive price. Listing reduced to $85 based on other completed sales.
