A local TV news channel was trying to show crowd reactions on election night. They went to the Obama headquarters to do some on the spot interviews. There was a long line of people getting checks. When the first three people in line were interviewed they did not know who Obama was, they said they came in and voted to get the money. Before I start getting flack, understand this is what I saw with my eyes on election night. Since nothing else appeared on any other station or in the news paper I have no way of verifing if what appeared to be going on was what was going on. Most of the people I talked to that saw it just shrugged their shoulders and said it was politics as usual in this area.

I won't give you flack, but I am curious: what you saw on television was the admission of a felonious act in this country. (See, as an example, 42 U.S.C. ยง1973 et seq.) Being the stalwart citizen you claim to be, my only question is this: What did the authorities do when you reported to them what you saw and told them there was a video tape to prove it?

It was on public television and viewed by thousands. In my area the best way to survive is to tend to your own business. That is what I did and apparently so did everyone else.

I do a great deal of video so I understand how the videographer can manipulate what you see. The reporter seemed shocked by what he was seeing so it was most likely real. However, knowing what I do about video production I would not go to the cops without verifying what I saw.

I attempted to verify what I saw but the whole thing was "disappeared" as they say in Philly. I reported it to the Republican rep and never heard back.

Not sure what else could be done.

If it was on public television I doubt if it was viewed by "thousands". I doubt that waste of taxpayer dollars has that many viewers and the NPR even less listeners. :roll:

I did not say NPR. When I said public TV I was referring to the free stations like CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX. I was most likely watching the local CBS affliate.

My mistake. I thought you were making reference to PBS. :roll: If anyone thinks there is no censorship in the media you are in a dream world. Advertising dollars can have big impact over content. :thumbup:

I'm not bigoted at all. You make that assumption based on something I forwarded from another email. I didn't say I agreed or disagreed with the content. I just threw it out there to see what the response would be. So now I have another lab rat to work with. Thank you for your participation.
