Those are beautiful shots and they are so sharp. What kind of lens do you use :?: I can't seem to capture birds as well as many do here.:? I have the kit lens that came with the camera and a 70-300 I don't know the focal range (I'm at work and the camera's at home) but I am thinking for birds, and fast moving objects, a faster lens might be my only answer to the problem.
Cheers Biker_Chic and thanks for looking it's appreciated. The lens is a Sigma 150-500, abit heavy but i love it.I shoot the birds hand held and also in auto with a shutter speed of 1000 or 1250.The secret is the panning,ie.Follow the bird using your viewfinder as though you where shooting bird with a gun,you wont get every shot perfect by any means but if you just get one out of 20 attempts you will be getting there anfd from then you will improve with practice..If your shooting birds that are perching or sitting on a branch use a tripod and go manual if you can.Hope this helps and dont hesitate to contact me if you want more info.
