Hahahaha! When a newbie doesn't do what we say we either get nasty or funny. Now and then we get a new user who just starts a thread and just sits back and watches it go crazy. I think Ken may be having a blast, wathing all of us beg. No more begging Ken, don't make us come up there! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Every time I think I have taken a georgous picture. I look at this website and feel like such an amature Iam embarrassed to post any of my pictures however being a newbie Iam dying to hear what somebody thinks of the pics I take. If I finally get up the courage to post a picture please take it easy on me.

I'm trying my best to learn but frankly just do not know what makes a great picture from a mediocre one. Thank you all for all for your post I learn a little more from each one.

Building up the courage to post a picture.........

:| OK Kenm54...

Lots of us in here have tried the nice way to get you to post .... but,... "that's it"... you don't post soon you could regret it .... things are about to get nasty... real nasty !!! I'm publicly stating here and now , that if a photo has not been posted in the next couple of hours then I will take the drastic action of posting one of my "overcooked images with wonky horizons"!... :shock: you may not have seen one of these upsetting images .... but others have ! Some folks in here have pleaded with me not to post again ....
They know just how bad they are .... :hunf: some have needed psychological treatment after seeing them .... only thing they are good for is placing them out on my lawn.... they are quite successful at stopping next doors cat from crapping on my garden ! :-(
let the countdown begin .... :| 10.... 9.... 8....

Ken. What are you after? Showing us your pet or kids, or trying to produce better pictures. We have people that are the best and we have members that are the worst. I think the best people put out there stuff and ask for C & C and listen. I thought I was OK, but see I am not. This is not a forum for getting awards. This is the "learning" place. When you ask for advise, you will get mostly kind but constructive advise. "Be brave my frined!" David in Florida.

Ken, I agree with the others, are you having fun watching your initial post go to 7 pages?
Everyone has told you over and over, they will help you.
Go to my Post of: <looking for a mentor> scroll down the first page to the X-mas tree..
I would not be able to help determine what you could do better, ect and I am a Novice at best. Nor would I comment but I sure would read the post soaking in what the other say to help me learn.
Everyone in this forum is more than willing to help, although, if you keep asking for help and don't put your pic on, its like <crying wolf> and it will be less likely people will help.

Nightski, my location says I am in hiding as well. I have only posted one photo......a snapshot really, but a snapshot with feeling! And Horseheart, I don't have a horse, but here is one of my lionhearted Pomeranian, does it count?

Kenm54 has had over 27 hours to build up his courage to post a photo. Maybe if we all posted a crappy photo he would feel better and get off his butt. Here's my contribution.

The delete button is aways the first thing that wears out on my cameras. Go for it, it only hurts for a little while :)

Love the photo, Optiem. You captured a nice moment, and I like the way his dark whiskers pop out. He just needs a name..or is it a she? I guess I just didn't know that if I didn't post my location that the website would say I am in hiding. But I guess you could still say I'm in hiding since no one knows what I look like. ;-)

mcveed - That may not be the greatest photo, but it's still some incredible scenery. You guys in BC are so spoiled - don't take that stuff for granted, whatever you do!
...and I am resisting the temptation to post one from my mountainous collection of "horrible but adorable" cute kitty pictures... Don't make me do it. ;-)
