2am is the change time. In spring it goes to 3am. In fall it goes back to 1am.

Only important for night owls. Us old curmudgeons are long in bed before that (even allowing for frequent bathroom trips).

2:00AM DST? So the clock went 12:59AM Standard Time then 2:00AM DST?
No. At 2:00 a.m. standard time, we jumped ahead to 3 a.m. daylight saving time. If you blinked, you missed it

Very important for shift workers! Or military on watch duties.

No, seriously. When? 🤣

I was surprised that my son came home from work an hour early last night because I had heard nothing about the time shift. I hope DST doesn't become permanent. It's not healthy. If business wants it, they'll get it, though.

It is the switching back and forth that causes the sleep problems and health issues, accidents etc.

Not the DST itself, If we were to go to it permanently in 20 years or so no one would give it a thought and younger people would be asking "What is DST? And you did WHAT twice a year!!! That is stupid."

Yep, if you are retired live your life like it never happened. The sun gets up a bit earlier but you don’t have to and the sun sets a bit later but you don’t have to wait up to see it.

When do we move the clocks forward this year?

Don't your cell phones and computers reset automatically?
I have only two clocks that I have to reset, on my stove and in my car.

It's the DST that bothers me not the switching.

If you set your camera to GMT you never have to worry about daylight saving time. I don't think GDT is widely used.
