I was surprised that my son came home from work an hour early last night because I had heard nothing about the time shift. I hope DST doesn't become permanent. It's not healthy. If business wants it, they'll get it, though.
It is the switching back and forth that causes the sleep problems and health issues, accidents etc.
Not the DST itself, If we were to go to it permanently in 20 years or so no one would give it a thought and younger people would be asking "What is DST? And you did WHAT twice a year!!! That is stupid."
