I use the OpTech Pro Loop Straps for my D800's with long lenses, including the Sigma 150-500mm zoom. I also use the OpTech Double Sling when I need to carry two bodies with lenses on them. Both straps are extremely comfortable to wear and quite reasonably priced. And they are made in the USA of USA components!

Do you hook it to the lens or to your Sigma?

So far I have the OpTech on the camera and left the strap that came with the Sigma on it. I usually don't use the camera strap with the Sigma attached. I usually cradle it instead with the strap as drop insurance.

I also use the OpTech Pro Loop Straps for my D800e with all my lenses, including the Sigma 150-500mm. I have never used the strap that came with the Sigma. I also cradle the lens as I'm walking - just a habit - I even do that with my shorter lenses.

I bought an FS-PRO from here; http://www.carryspeed.com last week liked it so much I bought a second one yesterday. They have a 30% Trade your Old Strap promotion but you dont have to send anything to them.

This looks really neat, which one did you buy?

I use a BlackRapid Cargo. My camera Canon 1D MKIV + Lens can be up to 2kilos in weight. Please look at the video. Worth every penny.
