Images taken 10/20, 23, 24/2023, Orchids, A Marigold, and A Chrysanthemum. Images taken indoors with Tripod, Pentax K-1 mark II Camera, smc-Pentax-D FA Macro 100mm F2.8 WR Lens, 5050K Lights; ISO 200, ƒ/16, 1.3 to 1.0 seconds. The Marigold and the Mum are cut and rooted whole potted plants. The Orchids are "living" rooted potted whole plants. There are "straight" shots as well as a couple digital filtered / highly processed images. Best viewed (click on Download) full sized. Enjoy, Comment.

Thank you NMGal for the praise. #4 was probably the most work in Ps because there was a lot of busy stuff I had to remove before I simplified it down to four flowers. My favorite is probably #5, but it is really hard for me to decide.

Thank you for looking and enjoying. Interesting that you like the two full potted plants bunches. My own favorites are probably shots 3 and 5. But these are all the best of the 23 final processed images I created from those two sessions.
You would laugh if you saw how I usually light all my Flower and Seashell images. I own a good amount of semi-fancy lighting equipment: Constant LED and CFL, strobes/flash, etc. with stands. But I have little room in the space where I do my shooting so virtually none of that equipment gets used. I basically use LED Ceiling Lights, and some window day light. And occasionally I'll use a white foam-core reflector or a hand held LED penlight. From many years of improvising I get the most from my cameras, lenses, skills, and techniques I can.

All are showcase special. Personally, my preference would be #5 which seems to lends itself to its own story more than a static image.
