I see no advantage to the new way of displaying the topics here. I do not like having to go back to the topic list to read the next one. And I certainly do not like seeing the reruns. I waste time opening a topic just to see that its posts having been running for week.

What am I doing wrong? Can I fix it? Am I the only dissatisfied user here? What am I missing about this new setup?

I'll bet you are referring to The Digest.....

Simply go to https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/newest-topic-list
It lists ALL the current new topics for what categories are in your "watch list". The Digest is a historical snapshot and does not contain all the newest topics, so you may be missing some items.

Are you talking about the Digest, or about UHH itself?
I don’t use the Digest, but by going to UHH and clicking on Newest Topics I get the latest posts on the sections I am subscribed to and the date the topic was originally posted as well as the date of the most recent comment to that topic.

No, it keeps running old posts in the thread and that wastes my time.

These are listed chronologically. I prefer to see them under each topic. You now have to go back to the topic filter to see the next topic.

AzPicLady Loc: Behind the camera!

One can always tell if the topic is a rerun. If the viewer responded to it, it will state how many new responses there are. If not, there are arrows indicating that it's a rerun. I like that it always lists what section they're in (in the Digest anyway), so that I can ignore stuff that won't interest me.
