"The U.S. post-9/11 wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, and Pakistan have taken a tremendous human toll on those countries. As of September 2021, an estimated 432,093 civilians in these countries have died violent deaths as a result of the wars. As of May 2023, an estimated 3.6-3.8 million people have died indirectly in post-9/11 war zones. The total death toll in these war zones could be at least 4.5-4.7 million and counting, though the precise mortality figure remains unknown. Civilian deaths have also resulted from U.S. post-9/11 military operations in Somalia and other countries."

Well then if Hamas really cared about their people then maybe they should not have started this war with Israel.

They target schools, they target hospitals, they target news agencies. Something must be wrong with your television, I don't have to read mine. If they identify a suicide bomber they bulldoze the homes of their relatives. I've seen live feeds from the territories, and seen the news crews taking fire from the Israelis. Their are probably confrontations where we should support Israel, but we should not automatcly support them. Without us they might be more interested in peace.

You're wrong Thom, but it is hardly surprising that you would somehow offer aid to people who rape and murder innocent women and children.

Israel practices group punishment.

A better question is why are you lying and why are you such an anti-Semite?

They target locations from which they are being fired upon. They target locations where the terrorists store their munitions. And yes, many times the terrorists do fire from hospitals and schools, or store their munitions there. What is Israel supposed to do? Just sit there and get shelled?

Don’t forget to mention that it is Hamas that uses innocent Palestinian Civilian human shields. They hide behind Palestinian civilians because they’re cowards.

You are so ill-informed about how Hamas operates its hardly worth the effort to reply. Israel doesn't target civilians. In fact, they go out of their way to warn civilians of impending counter attacks. Civilians are often the innocent victims of retaliation because one of the primary tactics these cowards employ is to use them as human shields.

This was not a war; it was a terrorist attack. Most likely supported by Iran. If the end result is not war with Iran, then nothing will solve this.

I haven't verified your numbers, but they are probably right, and what did we accomplish.

What did we accomplish with Vietnam? Killed a lot of people, got a lot of people killed. And now, our shoes and clothes and electronics are imported from there.

If this were so righteous by Hamas, why did Hamas invade a Kibbutz where a rave was being held and shoot all innocent UNARMED civilians?

If you want to see the face of this attack in the proper light I challenge you to listen to just the last podcast from Ben Shapiro. He shares his thoughts and video compiled by Hamas to brag about their atrocities.

The wretched teachings of Hamas reach down to their elementary aged male children. They are giving Israeli child hostages to their children to beat and torment. Young hamas men are raping Israeli women to death and taping the results to share with the world.

And then there's this..

Calls grow for Ilhan Omar, AOC, Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib to be expelled from Congress

WASHINGTON, DC: In a stark divergence from the bipartisan support typically seen in Congress regarding US-Israel relations, members of "The Squad," a group of far-left House Democrats, have ignited a controversy with their statements on the ongoing Hamas attack on Israel.

The notorious group, which includes representatives Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, has sparked calls for their removal from Congress and has drawn condemnation from some of their own party colleagues.

Voices of 'The Squad'
Representative Cori Bush of Missouri stated that the United States should cease its support for the "Israeli military occupation and apartheid."

Her comments reflect a growing sentiment within the progressive wing of the Democratic Party that views US support for Israel as problematic and in need of reassessment.

Meanwhile, Representative Jamaal Bowman from New York called for an end to Israel's "blockade of Gaza."

He argued that this blockade exacerbates the suffering of Palestinians in the region and that addressing this issue is critical for achieving peace and stability.

Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley, from New York and Massachusetts, respectively, called for an "immediate ceasefire and de-escalation" in the ongoing conflict.

They expressed concerns that Israel's military actions could lead to further loss of life and suffering among Palestinians in Gaza.

Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota initially criticized the violence caused by Hamas while urging "de-escalation and ceasefire."

She framed the ongoing conflict as part of a "back and forth cycle," highlighting the cyclical nature of violence in the region.

However, she later emphasized the need for a "moral awakening" in the US to address the human suffering in Gaza.

Representative Rashida Tlaib of Michigan placed the blame for Israel's suffering squarely on Israel itself.

She advocated for lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling what she termed the "apartheid system" that creates the conditions conducive to resistance.

Tlaib also called for the end of US support for Israel, linking it to the perpetuation of violence in the region.

By extension, do you also think that the members of Congress calling for an end to support for Ukraine should be expelled?

Imagine if on September 12th, 2001 someone posted an infographic titled:
"Let's talk about the Al Qaeda conflict..."; or
"Don't forget the the US are the oppressors"; or
"No on can tell an oppressed group what their resistance should look like"
Something to think about
