Gas Prices... won't be a concern someday soon.

I suspect the evolution of solar panels and batteries will solve that problem.

How do you think tax credits are funded?
Gas prices will probably never come down enough to please the general public
I'm not sure if prices will go down when electric vehicles decrease the demand, but that seems logical. Not a sure thing.
Electric vehicles as we know them now will not be the last iteration of personal mobility.
I can't imagine what is next... Star Trek Transporters?
Yeah, I'm reaching... lol

Are those the taxes that are supposed to pay for our crumbling infrastructure instead of making Elon the richest man on the planet?
There are 6.2 million electric vehicles on the road in the USA 2 million of them cares. It seems that electric vehicles are here already. Marriott is putting in chargers in all their hotels. It would seem EV's are here to stay

Not so much in the frozen north, (Canada).
Perhaps another term like "Non-fossil fuel vehicles" would include various other necessary alternatives.

Don't know much about lithium ion, but no battery that I'm familiar with does well in extreme cold. In really cold areas tow trucks have car starting generators instead of car starting batteries. Pneumatic starters are also much more common in areas that get very cold. I'm guessing that is why electric vehicles aren't so popular in the frozen north. Don't know anything about fuel cells, but I'd be surprised if they do well there either
