Yes, I totally agree, Mother Nature is the ultimate artist. That is why I so often photograph Flowers and Seashells, the beauty of nature speaks for it self. Thank you for the compliment.
I have not done much "true macro" photographs lately but have been creating close-ups of said natural subjects. A couple months ago I purchased a Full Frame DSLR. Not a MILC because Pentax makes no such product. I am still learning this incredible Pentax K-1 mark II 36MP Full Frame camera. Learning metering and what I need to do for lighting.

Hey Chief, another thing we have in common. I too have nice collection from my diving days in Guam. Some nice cones including a “textile cone”, very deadly to man. Also a sling stone.

Yes, that is one of the ones I was referring to. Very beautiful as well as deadly.
