You guys keep harping about that $700.00 check but not one of you Constitutional Lawyers is aware that that is the largest amount of money, the President can authorize.
It's up to your Republican majority in the House to authorize more and that's unlikely because they really don't give a shit about people in need. Just millionaires with greed.

What are you talking about?? Under section 408 of the Stafford Act, FEMA can give up to $37,900 in financial assistance to an individual or household under a Presidentially-declared major disaster or emergency.

Just as bad, but someone has already started a thread about it on UHH, I can't find it quickly. Perhaps someone else can. I remember I commented on religion (traditional beliefs) at the time and someone questioned me on it. I know no easy way to search for it.
